Ooey Gooey Catering is a Farm to Table catering service that values fresh and sustainable ingredients. Ooey Gooey values sourcing our food from local farmers markets and utilizing seasonal items to create custom menus. Ooey Gooey also values the waste and excess food produced. Working with local farms and farmers markets allows us to use nothing but the freshest ingredients therefore producing less waste. Our signature bamboo plates are also the perfect sustainable plate for any event. 


Ooey Gooey Catering originated from the desire to expand Chef Ed's passion for cooking. Though cooking was present in various ways during Chef Ed's childhood, the desire to make it a career developed from the culmination of fond memories cooking with his grandmother and after the origination of the Cooking Channel. After witnessing the endless possibilities of creation and the potential to make someone's day with good food, Chef Ed embarked on his journey.


To follow this dream he attended culinary school in New York, NY at The French Culinary Institute. After completing his culinary program he started his career working at Sea Grill in Rockefeller Center followed by Quantity Meats in Midtown. After his time spent working at some of NYC’s top restaurants, he craved greater freedom to create custom recipes and menus. This is what led him to become a Private Chef. Ed worked for various celebrity clients over 7 years from coast to coast. After his time as a Private Chef, Ed wanted to explore the world of catering. He worked from the bottom up to learn all aspects of the business so he can eventually open a catering company of his own. In July 2018 Chef Ed did just that and launched Ooey Gooey Catering. The mission of Ooey Gooey Catering is to provide fresh and flavorful menus perfectly customized for each client. Ooey Gooey’s events to date have included Weddings, Private Chef Services, Private Dinner Parties, Corporate Events, and Production Catering. His vision for the company is to continue to grow while providing clients with outstanding customer service and fabulous cuisine that elevates their mood and excites their taste buds. No matter how big this company gets quality of service cannot diminish and that is his pledge to his clients and his staff.
